Visiting Hobbiton

I never thought I’d ever go to Hobbiton for many reasons, but the biggest reason was I like most had no idea what to really expect. After seeing everything there and living a small part of what it must have been like for the actors, I have to say it was well worth the visit.

This was the first view we had just before we started onto the road leading to where the filming was done.

These are two coins from the actual movie The Hobbit that are not reproductions, a friend was nice enough to share them with me.

I had to do a panoramic shot trying to get as much of the set as I could.

Here is a short walk through of the Green Dragon, there isn’t any sound but I didn’t want the chatter from everyone there.

I hope you enjoyed the photos and the video, I will be posting more of the places I visit soon!

  1. Oh wow, it would have not been my first choice and I never concidered it so far – but your photos are absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for sharing. I love it and I’m happy to see you are having a great time out there. My best wishes are with you and I hope you are well. Yours, Sovely
