Trip to Anaheim California

A while back I took a Trip to Anaheim California, I have to say it was great!

While there I visited as much as I could because I knew it was going to be a long while before I could go back, I simply LOVE California and being so close to the ocean.

But this really isn’t about the trip as much as it is about the trip back, I had a friend pick me up at the airport so I didn’t have to leave my car while I was gone.

On the way home, we talked about my trip and all the things I had done while there, I wasn’t to far from home and I said we had talked about me and my trip but had anything happened while I was gone, his reply was no not really.

As we turned onto the last road leading to my house I happen to look over into a field and this is what I saw.

I looked at him with a confused look and I said wait a minute you said nothing had happened, he laughed and said oh yeah there was that. OMG there was THAT! The plane went down not maybe a little more than a football field away from my house as the crow flys. Luckily nobody had been hurt, but still, this was sort of a big deal to me.

I do worry about this all the time because I live on the flightpath for the planes using our local airport.

I told him on the next trip maybe if something like this was to occur he could give me a heads up before I get home LOL
