Things We Do

This is a true statement for a lot of people but I have something to add to it.

How many times have you thought to yourself WHEN DID I STOP DOING THAT?

I know I have had this happen way to often and I’m trying to get back to them but after you stop doing something it can be so hard to start doing them again.

Things I use to really enjoy doing or even eating LOL just slipped away a little at a time and for others there was a sudden STOP but I really can’t remember what caused them to just simply end.

I think we just get caught up in other things or life it self and those other things go away but that’s NOT a good thing at all, we should continue doing what we like and enjoy the life we have.

Everyone have a good night and if you have found yourself saying yeah I did enjoy something then get back to doing them and don’t let anything stand in your way.

  1. Which also raises the question: When did life start being so busy that we stopped doing those things?? Awaiting your answer, oh wise one, so that I can find time to do those things I used to enjoy again… 😉😃

    1. OH wise one huh? LOL far from that.
But they can change for many reasons. some may be more habits and they were replaced with new ones.
Others are influenced by who we are around: Boyfriends, husbands, wives, Girlfriends may not be into what we enjoy so we stop doing them, which in my opinion is WRONG if we have to give up things we enjoy then they really are not a good match.
Some change because of lifestyle we may change jobs, shifts which no longer allow us the time we had.
To be honest the list just goes on for reasons why we stopped but the list to start them again is one simple thing. BECAUSE WE WANT THOSE THINGS!

      1. For me it’s time. I spend so much time renegotiating dumb things (eg. power/phone contracts), returning faulty items, following up with people to get things done, and other trivia, that by the time I’ve done the chores and my job, there is little sweet time (or energy) left. Things used to be so much simpler!!
